William Mundo nearly dropped out of high school before discovering Upward Bound –– and enrolling in dual enrollment classes at Colorado Mountain College in Leadville. “CMC gave me the opportunity to turn things around, to think about what I want to do in the future,” says the aspiring Mundo, whose now about to graduate with dual degrees from CU Denver.
