This was taken at Vail Pass. The portrait has a leading line that takes the viewer to the end of the frame shown with a second rider up on the top left which indicates the rider in yellow will eventually get there as well. The main subject (rider in yellow) is not directly placed on the rule of thirds but the image’s simplicity draws attention to the rider in yellow. No dramatic light, but the image tell a story without much distraction, the image is sharp and has good contrast and decent depth of field. The S curve provides some pleasure for the eyes. I hope I am correct in my own evaluation. CC welcomed.
